Be part of shaping the future of medicine! The Technology Transfer Division of UMG's Corporate Communications department provides an exciting and challenging collaborative work environment. Our goal is to translate innovative research findings into concrete medical applications for the benefit of patients worldwide.
As part of the UMG Accelerator, the central unit for technology transfer, you will join a multidisciplinary team. Working closely with internal experts, external consultants and international partners, you will help advance projects with significant translational potential. To this end, we collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, start-ups, venture capitalists and biotechnology experts.
Your tasks

- Media planning, public relations and development of a PR strategy for UMG technology transfer: Development, refinement and implementation of the communication strategy, coordination of cross-location public relations with technology transfer partners in Lower Saxony
- Press relations for UMG technology transfer – establishing relationships with relevant contacts and a network
- Development and maintenance of the website and support for UMG's social media channels, creation and preparation of text, image and optional video material
- Internal communication and collaboration: Creation and publishing of newsletters
Your qualifications

- University degree
- Relevant professional experience in a similar role; industry knowledge in the pharmaceutical/biotech/research institutions sectors, etc., is a plus
- Native English speaker or excellent English skills; experience living abroad are an advantage
- Ability to work independently, team spirit, sociability and social skills
- Interest in innovation and start-ups
- Experience of the Typo3 CMS and common media tools for text and content creation
